Anne Elliott joined Watkins Meegan in November 2006 and has more than 18 years of tax experience in various industries, including real estate, construction, high-technology government contractors, emerging growth businesses and retailers, among other service providers.
Anne frequently helps her clients obtain and plan for the effective use of federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credits. She is experienced in providing federal and state tax compliance, planning and advice with respect to individuals, S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, proprietorships, employee benefit plans, trusts and estates. Additionally, she is responsible for researching new tax laws and regulations and updating the firm on this information.
Prior to joining Watkins Meegan, Anne was a tax manager for a firm that specialized in the real estate industry and high net worth individuals. In conjunction with running the firm’s tax department, she ensured that procedures were established to adhere to the best practices quality control measures suggested by the Treasury Department’s Circular 230.
