Jerry Hahne is a Senior Manager in the Construction and Real Estate Groups, and he has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. Since joining the firm in 1986, he has worked almost exclusively with contractors and manages many of the firm’s construction client relationships.

Jerry has expertise in financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance for contractors, as well as significant experience in specialized areas including tax accounting methods, contractor-owned real estate, employee stock ownership plans and lookback interest. He also has acquired experience in strategic business issues, such as overhead and breakeven analysis, benchmarking of key financial indicators, management succession, ownership transfers and business sales.

In addition, Jerry has assisted clients in the implementation of accounting software programs and development of accounting and internal control manuals, as well as the recruitment and training of accounting personnel. He also has written numerous articles for construction-related publications and has presented to construction trade groups on tax matters and other issues facing contractors.
