John Seek has more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance and his expertise is utilized across all industry groups at Watkins Meegan. He specializes in construction accounting, auditing, tax and litigation support services, including contract compliance, damage calculations, due diligence, forensic accounting, pre-trial and trial support, arbitration and mediation.
John’s financial management skills span a variety of industries, from construction and real estate to hospitality and professional services, and he has served small, mid-market and large businesses and corporations. He is regarded as an expert in his field, offering vast experience on accounting and taxation aspects of the construction and real estate industry, among others.
In addition, John consults with clients on tax and financial matters and represents construction contractors and real estate owners. His expertise includes acquisition analysis, mergers, contract compliance, financial analysis and other industry-related advisory services. He also has been actively involved in the firm's litigation support practice in the areas of construction and real estate. He has represented owners involved in construction disputes and has testified as an expert in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
John began his career with the firm and rapidly progressed in supervisory roles before becoming a Member. He served as Managing Member of the firm from 1986 to 1991.
