Kirk Cranford is the Member-in-Charge of the firm’s Annapolis office. He has extensive experience serving a diverse group of clients ranging from small emerging growth companies to mature corporations and national trade and professional organizations.

As a member of the firm’s Emerging Growth Group, Kirk provides audit, accounting, and tax services to his clients.  He also offers expertise in business advisory services, personal and business financial planning, exempt organization issues, and general and government contracting.  Kirk maintains a personal role in each of his client engagements and he stresses the importance of a proactive team approach.  By working closely with clients to evaluate their individual needs, Kirk assists in the development of goals and implementation of the specific steps necessary to achieve them.

Prior to joining Watkins Meegan in 2000, Kirk was a principal in two other Maryland-based accounting firms, Callow, Machen & Cranford and Farren & Cranford. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he is a also Certified Financial Planner.
