Vanessa Teitelbaum is a senior manager in the construction group.  She has over 13 years of experience working for a big 4 firm and has served several large multinational companies and managed audit and audit related activities.  Her experience expands much more than the construction industry and auditing. Vanessa has worked with companies in the entertainment and media, technology, financial services, industrial, and retail industries.  She has extensive experience in SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley/internal control reporting.  Most recently, Ms. Teitelbaum has worked with the Washington Post Company, Corning Incorporated and Fishbowl Marketing.  Previous client have included J.P. Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Brown Brothers Harriman.

Vanessa’s proactive attitude has led her to take on many different roles within her positions.  She has coordinated the day-to-day aspects of client service relationships and supervised audit teams.   Ms. Teitelbaum also has experience reviewing financial statements advising on GAAP & GAAS, and performing risk assessments and review of controls for registrants and privately held companies.  Vanessa specializes in reviewing annual 10-K and quarterly 10-Q filings, and remains current on SEC, FASB, and EITF authoritive guidance.

Her experience also consists of managerial duties such as preparing written presentations and participating in key executive management teams, board of directors, and audit committees.  She has prepared presentations on topics such as, audit plans, audit results, recommendations to improve controls and operational efficiency, newly issued accounting legislation/pronouncements, and revenue recognition.
