Dana English is a seasoned account executive for Watkins Meegan LLC dedicated to providing various accounting, finance, and tax services to clients in the hospitality industry.  With over 16 years of progressive experience, Ms. English is an innovative leader in the hospitality industry.  Her expertise includes the following disciplines:  financial management, strategic planning, information technology development, staff development and team building, government reporting, internal auditing, and cost analysis.  In addition, Ms. English is an expert in M3 accounting software.  She has over seven years of hands-on experience with M3 software and is a certified M3 consultant.

Ms. English began her career in public accounting and transitioned into the role of private corporate controller and ultimately Vice President of Accounting where she managed the accounting department for a mid-sized hospitality management company.  It was here she was first introduced to M3’s web hosted accounting software, Accknowledge.  Ms. English utilized the software to create daily revenue reports and financial statements giving clients immediate access to information.  Access to accurate and instant financial data gave her clients tools to improve bottom line profitability.  In 2007, she took a job as a professional services consultant for M3 Accounting Services.  During this time, she assisted computer programmers in the creation of the M3 Link, innovative data mining software for the hospitality industry.  Her extensive knowledge of and insight into M3 helps her keep clients one step ahead of the competition.

Ms. English is a creative problem solver with grounded business practices.  As part of the hospitality team at Watkins Meegan, Dana assists client with M3 software implementation, financial report design, and software training.  She also advises client of accounting best practices.
