Community involvement

At Watkins Meegan, community involvement is more than our corporate duty. We understand that as a firm and as individuals we can make a difference in the lives of those around us. Whether we’re teaching students about financial literacy or leading a Girl Scout troop, we’re giving back to the community that has given so much to us.

Who would think that wearing jeans could do so much good for the community? While our corporate dress code calls for business casual, Watkins Meegan dresses down for the day at least once a quarter to raise money for local organizations. Charities are selected based on employee recommendations and we’ve contributed to a variety of groups – from the Boys & Girls Clubs to the Special Olympics.

Corporate Volunteer Council of Montgomery County
With roots in Montgomery County, we’re active members of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Montgomery County. Through the council, Watkins Meegan “adopts” a government-subsidized childcare center to which we donate toys and warm clothes during the holiday season and our staff also participates in numerous volunteer events throughout the year.
