Watkins Meegan LLC (Watkins Meegan), announced Kristen Soles, CPA as Member of the firm effective January 1, 2012. As a Member of Watkins Meegan, Ms. Soles will continue to grow her client base as well as the government contracting group’s core services. In addition, she will focus on expanding her industries’ niche service offerings and maintain exceptional service to her existing clients. “Kristen’s hard-work, dedication, and expertise make her an invaluable part of Watkins Meegan, and we are excited to have her as a Member,” comments Mike Micholas, Managing Member of Watkins Meegan LLC.

With over 14 years of experience, Ms. Soles has been a pioneer of the firm since day one. Her “get-it-done” attitude and proactive, out-of-the-box thinking is part of the reason she is so successful and a valuable resource to clients. Ms. Soles specializes in audit, tax and advisory services to government contractors including FAR/CAS compliance, indirect cost rate structures, cost reporting, and final incurred cost proposals. Often Kristen assists clients with their Deltek GCS Premier and Costpoint accounting packages and provides overall business advice to clients to help them grow their business. Internally, Ms. Soles is an instrumental part in the success of the firm’s Lunch and Learn program and training services through the Watkins Meegan Academy

Ms. Soles joins Members Christine Williamson and Phil Philips of the Government Contracting & Technology Group.
