Seven of Watkins Meegan’s professionals were named Super CPAs for 2009. Sponsored by Virginia Business magazine and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), the Super CPAs awards recognize extraordinary CPAs for their contributions to the profession and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Super CPAs are nominated and selected by members of the VSCPA.

There were more than 1,100 people nominated for Super CPA awards this year and 284 people were named to the list. Virginia Business and the VSCPA have partnered to present the awards since 2001.
More than 1,100 people were nominated for the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and Virginia Business magazine's 2009 Super CPA awards and 284 people, about 25 percent, were selected for the awards.
