Watkins Meegan has named
Sean Roddy, CPA, CMA, MBA, as its Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Sean will oversee the firm’s strategic growth and development, identifying opportunities for organic growth, as well as growth through mergers and acquisitions. He will refine and implement strategic plans to allow the firm to double its size in the next five years.
A former CFO for a $26 billion Fortune 100 company, Sean is adept at shaping long-range business vision and direction for organizations using his skills in strategic planning and financial analysis. He is experienced in building top-performing financial and operational teams and has developed excellent communication and presentation skills by working with a variety of financial institutions, private and Wall Street investors, and global business partners.
As COO, Sean will oversee the firm's strategic growth, identifying opportunities for organic growth and growth through mergers and acquisitions.
Sean joined Watkins Meegan as a Director in 2007, most recently serving as the firm’s Director of Business Development. In that role, he identified new business opportunities, secured service engagements, and established critical alliances within the region’s technology and business communities. Additionally, Sean oversaw the firm’s recent rebranding, including the launch of its new website and the development of electronic marketing and communications platforms to better serve clients and business partners.
