W J Technologies, LLC (WiJiT), a consulting firm helping companies manage government-contracting requirements through systems and technology, is proud to announce the promotion of Karen L. Louis to the role of Partner (Member), effective October 1, 2009. Ms. Louis has more than 15 years of accounting experience, primarily in the government contracting industry, and was previously WiJiT’s Director of Professional Services.

“Under Karen’s direction, WiJiT has become a mature software consulting company and a successful Deltek partner/reseller. We’re confident that Karen’s leadership will allow the firm to continue to thrive in the government contracting market,” said Christine Williamson, Chief Operating Officer of WiJiT and Member of Watkins Meegan.

WiJiT has become a mature software consulting company and a successful Deltek partner/reseller.

Ms. Louis specializes in the configuration, implementation, and training of clients on the Deltek GCS Premier ® and Time Collection software. Her clients also benefit from her in-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Cost Accounting Standards, indirect cost rate structures, cost reporting, and Incurred Cost Submissions, including ICE. Prior to joining WiJiT in 2008, Ms. Louis held a senior management position in Watkins Meegan’s Government Contracting and Technology Group. Ms. Louis is a graduate of the University of Maryland and she was named a Super CPA by Virginia Business magazine in 2007.

While Ms. Louis steps into the Member role, WiJiT's co-founding member, Technology & Business Solutions (TBS), will be moving out of its role as Member. “It is important to each of our customer bases that our respective organizations focus on what we do best,” said Joe Jezior, Co-Founder and Principal of TBS. “We have always been 100 percent focused on providing hosting for organizations that utilize Deltek software, so we will continue to provide WiJiT’s customers with our software hosting services.”
